It is amazing what you can accomplish when you don’t work on a weekday.
I mean, seriously.
I went to three post offices today.
Taxes? ✔️
Mortifyingly late thank you cards from Christmas? ✔️
Planning out my reading interventions for next month? ✔️
Handstand breaks? ✔️
Frosty adult beverage with my brother who drove in from Wyoming? ✔️
Loving on SB’18? ✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️
Wow – lots done and also enjoying the day!

After having an unexpected early release mid-week last week due to weather, my GLP commented that she could have a half day every week – she felt so fulfilled and relaxed getting so much more accomplished in that pocket of extra time. Love your “Handstand breaks? ✔” – so important to “balance” your work and play! Fun slice!

Soooooo TRUE!! Except I’ve done more playing on my break than working! I’ve got a few days left–I’m coming for you, taxes! 😉 Well done!!!

Playing always trumps working!! (Although the work always manages to get done in between the playing… 😏)

I love the surprises in your list (handstand breaks!), and also the extra checks at the end. They were like the perfect ending to a poem.

Your photographs says it all, “It is amazing what you can accomplish when you don’t work on a weekday.” You still managed to get some ‘teacher work’ done too.

I did, it’s true. ☺️ Those “off” days aren’t always totally off, right?!
