I have a collection of fun little internet gamey games that I use to chill my brain. This routine generally happens in the evening – kind of an odd way of winding down my brainwaves!
Here’s what I like to play:
- Wordle
- Worldle
- Globle
- Other NYT games
- The mini crossword
- Connections
- Spelling bee
- Tiles
- Sudoku (easy mode, sometimes medium)
- Back up to the big crossword (as long as it’s not Friday or Saturday. Or, okay, sometimes Thursday.)
- Puzzmo options
- Crossword
- Flipart
- Spelltower
- Strands (beta NYT game – google it!)
I tend to keep this order of progression, from the top of this list to the bottom. Unless I get a wild hair and do Strands before puzzmo – I know, I know. WILD.
Of course, over time, some games have gone by the wayside. I loved Redactle and pteredactle before they disappeared into the haze of unmaintained websites. (Thanks, Ann, for those gems!)
What else is out there that keeps your puzzle brain happy? I’d love to know.
