This is a “yes, and…” addition to yesterday’s post. All of that messiness still stands true…
…AND…
- A student today knew how to safely blowout excess anger energy, regroup, reflect, and get himself ready to rejoin class.
- A student used his words this afternoon to clearly and boldly stick up for himself.
- A student sat right up next to me this morning just so that I could feel how soft her new fleece was. (It was luxuriously soft.)
- I wore my favorite overalls today.
- I actually drank water at school today.
- A student made me a picture of Dogman this morning and then told me that I’d probably want to frame it at school because she’d done the best picture anyone had ever done of Dogman ever before.
- A student let me know this morning that it might be a rough day for him because, as he put it, “I don’t have much thoughts in my head.” (Same, dude. Same.)
- This is my view, right now, at 5:35pm, from school, where I’m trying to pull together materials for the next two days of student-led conferences:
Yup. Plus all of that stuff from before. ‘Twas certainly a “yes, and…” day across the board up here today.
