Know who my favorite person is today?
It’s Past Kristina. She rocks. Wanna know why?
A few weeks ago, she thought it would be a good idea to schedule a personal day on the Monday after “vaccine weekend”. With the assumption that at least one of those weekend days would be eaten up by symptoms, she thought an extra day off would be wise.
And you know what? She was so freaking wise! Today was just the thing I needed: Fresh air, uphilling with dear friends, skiing squiggly turns in soft spring snow on the way down, open living room windows, getting some boring things crossed off the list, and some healing watercolor time.

I often talk to “future me”, but I have rarely thought to congratulate “past me”. Well done past you! Sounds like you were and still are very smart! 🙂

I find that I am more apt to recognize Past Me when Present Me feels extra discombobulated!
