Dogs just make everything better.
Yes, we had an awesome family ski day.
Yes, the sun was shining and the sky was that perfect Colorado blue.
Yes, by the afternoon, the chairlift seats were actually warm when we sat down on them.
Yes, the snow was soft and wintery and plentiful.
But…
My highlights of the day involved pausing for snuggles with the sweetest little new patrol pup, soaking up a private chairlift ride on chair #84, which my brother decorated with what is now a memorial Shay sticker, and receiving lots of welcoming tail wags from my dogsitting buddy of the week.
Dogs just make everything better.
