To Whom It May Concern,
As of today, I am no longer interested in this whole SPRING AHEAD! situation.
No, thank you.
I am canceling my auto renewal.
I’ll be awaiting the prompt return of my missing hour of sleep, my alert first and second graders, my morning light, my cozy evenings, and my sense of being grounded in the predictable passing of time and the ways of the world around me.
You can keep your dark mornings, your confused bird calls, your too hot and bright evenings, and your minus sleeping.
No, thank you.
And, yes, I will accept extra sleeping hours as interest payments until my full return is credited to my account.
Sincerely,
A teacher who – FINE – will still manage to drag herself out of bed tomorrow morning to try this whole ridiculous thing all over again.
🥴
What a creative way to complain. I love the line about canceling your auto renewal! Such a funny post. I have to say that I love that it’s light out later. To have daylight until 7 PM in New York is a gift.

My sentiments too! I want my area to just move to eastern time if they like to be up so early! And i am an early bird.

Perfect!
I’m retired and didn’t have to get myself to school this morning, but the time change still makes time, routine, sleep… feel messed up.
