You know what?
When you’ve had a day,
a day that drains your heart and
your spirit and your belief in the
inherent good in other humans and
your own internal sense of who is
grounded and trustworthy and even
your last shred of desire to attempt
to connect just one more time?
There’s only one thing left. Just
one little thing
to be done in order to be DONE.
You must immediately exit the premises and follow emergency heart-filling protocols by going to get a hot cookie with ice cream and Bailey’s hot cocoa with your friend.
You must.
Right away.
It’s the rule.

Okay.
Now that that’s settled…
I’ll see ya tomorrow. 📝
Now there is a rule I can get behind! 🙂

This is a fabulous way to deal with a DAY. You can feel your frustration but also the joy at the cookie and cocoa. I plan to follow your directions next time I am in need.

I recommend printing them out, step by step, and hanging them right by your car keys. 😉❤️
