Weather ups and downs mean that I was bundled up in multiple jackets against the blowing snow yesterday and swimming laps and lounging in the sun in my bathing suit today.
Every minute of this Saturday has brought a smile to my soul.
Even when my swim cap broke when I was putting it on my head and I ended up looking like the French soldier at the top of the castle in The Holy Grail. Soul smiles galore.
Kept getting better.
Extra smiles came from the daily heart sighting, which manifested itself today in a tiny little feather stuck in a drain grate by the lounge chairs.
Needed this heart-filling day to erase the potholes of last week.
Daylight Savings Time starts tomorrow, which is my least favorite switch, but perhaps the extra light after school will provide for more fun mini adventures. 🥰

It sounds like a lovely Saturday – even with the swim cap catastrophe. Where do you live that you have snow in the morning and bathing suits in the afternoon. That sounds wild! I love the daily heart sightings and your positive attitude about things. I personally love daylight savings….I can finally take walks after work!

I actually almost bought a few feathers at Hobby Lobby today…that very same feather. haha Nice to read your day kept getting better, and yes, I’m looking forward to more light in the afternoon and evenings. 🙂

The feather is such a treasure! I too find that daylight savings time leaves a sour taste in my mouth… but I’m ready for more sun and warmth for sure!
