Picture this:
It’s March. You’re in Colorado, around 7500’ in elevation, the snow is rapidly retreating because it’s gonna be in the 60s and the 70s for the foreseeable future, you’re out at snack recess with your peeps, someone found a long rainbow-colored jumprope, everyone is having a grand old time with no yelling or arguments or fake injuries or blaming someone else for their own mistakes, you make googly eyes at your teaching partner and decide that zero percent of you wants to go inside and teach even though the clock says it’s time for class to start, soooo…
What do you do?
Me?
I vote for joining the line of kids learning how to jumprope, giving my phone to a first grader for photo documentation privileges, and getting down to the business of playing around in the fresh air!
(Update: Jumping is way harder than I remember it being. 🥴)
What would YOU do?

See ya tomorrow! ☀️
Your 1st grade documentation did a great job. I would definitely seize the moment too and jump. I am impressed you did it in flip-flops.
