Have you ever had one of those days that personifies a run-on sentence?
Wait. Who am I kidding?
We’ve all had a million of those types of days.
Because I need to vent this shit out, here’s a glimpse into my brain as of late:
*Big breath in*
I didn’t get much sleep last night because I was at school until 9:45pm trying to enter report card info into the computer because reports are due this Friday but I’m not going to finish them on time because I have a two day math conference on Thursday and Friday which I also had to write sub notes for last night and then after the conference days I still have to teach all of my yoga classes and besides I still have to go through my end-of-unit nonfiction prompts to have a full picture of my writers and I’m just going to have to give up on meeting Friday’s reports deadline and enter all of my writing, math, reading, wellness, and science notes for my second graders over the holiday weekend because on top of all of this I’m getting married on Saturday.
*Explosive exhale out*
You already gave your self the best instruction, keep breathing!! You are alive, have a great job that you are good at and you are about to become the spouse of a guy who you love and loves you. It doesn’t get any better than that. Enjoy the snow and the celebration of your marriage. All the best.

From your Dad’s perspective – bag the reports – I think the parents and school admin will give you a little slack there – enjoy a wonderful day AND the run up to it !!

What a great example of stream (or rushing river) of consciousness. I love this about writing; it goes at the pace it goes. As do these times in our lives. It will all take as long as it takes and the best parts are the forever things. Congratulations!
