March 13th, 2020 was the day that our school first shut down because of COVID. It was also the day we went on a long weekend hut trip with friends from out of town and one of their friends who – and this was the strangest thing – still couldn’t smell or taste anything after recovering from a bad cold a few weeks prior. Huh. So very strange. 😳
I guess we’ve all been through some life experiences and learned a few things in the past two years, haven’t we?
This year’s March 13th sure looks a lot different.

Thank goodness it looks different! I’m looking forward to getting back to normal life. Even though, I’m pretty sure, it will be a “new” normal.
