Not Quite Melted Out (Day 25/31 #sol22)

** Full body exhale **

Made it.

It’s officially Spring Break.

This week took its damn sweet time arriving, so I’ve had lots of moments to consider what I want to do during SB’22. Here’s my list:

  1. Ski
  2. Yoga
  3. Read
  4. Sleep
  5. Hide from the world for at least a day or two

I might start tomorrow with number five.

I kinda feel like this playground toy that I spotted today… beginning to emerge into the possibility of sunshine and future movement but still firmly frozen in the shaded ice of the past few months.

  1. That frozen digger is a perfect metaphor. There might be work to do…but later, after we’re all thawed out. Thanks for this and enjoy hiding (outside of slicing, of course). ;0

  2. Oh, man do I feel you on this one! I am just finishing up my spring break, and that first Friday night and Saturday I was EXHAUSTED. As in bone-tired. For me, I started with heavy doses of #5, 4 and 3. Maybe some walking and baking.

    Here’s hoping you get some time to do all the nothing (and everything!) your heart desires.

  3. I agree with your first choice being #5. We have so much to deal with, decompressing is a must before we can enjoy other things. My spring bread isn’t for another TWO weeks… Hanging on… one day at a time.
