As I read this, the Sunday night blues have begun to grip me. I’m loving the memory of the quiet coffee and books. Only seven more days left til the next one.
This haiku feels like it captures the whole arc of a Sunday! The peaceful, restfulness of the first half of the day, and the specter of the week weighting down Sunday night. Your line in the middle, about wind whipping the trees, was a beautiful link between the two.

The last line, “Monday looms…” says it all. As a teachers, I always dreaded Mondays.
