Oh, look.
It’s March 1st.
Wait, really?! Geez. After the eleventy-two thousand days of January, February sure flew by. Even with an extra day. Huh.
What happens on March 1st? Let’s see…
Did I remember “rabbit, rabbit” this morning?
Nope.
Well, that’s not exactly true. I remembered at 3am when I was reading because I’d woken up in a night sweat. While my brain was attempting to ignore how gross it feels to be instantly and shockingly hot and damp when it’s breezy and single digits outside, I had a quick self-reminder of the first words I needed to say on this day. But then, when my alarm rudely went off three hours later and Mike asked me how I slept, they were most certainly not my first words. Oh, well. I’ll try again in April.
What else happens on March 1st? Hmmm…
Oh, right. I write.
*snicker*
Seems it’s time to dust off this rusty daily writing engine of mine. Please join me this month if you feel so inclined to follow along. It’s nice when I know that I’m not just amusing myself with these daily posts.
Although…
I do tend to find myself highly entertaining.
Happy March!

IT WAS LITERALLY ELEVENTY-TWO THOUSAND DAYS. Longest. Month. Ever. One thing I love about slicing in March is that for some reason, it helps the month fly by. What used to feel like an endless month waiting for spring and trying to have enough energy to get through the year now has something to keep it fresh and interesting each day.
