A first grader made herself a little reminder note the other day. She wanted to remember her homework, and she decided that writing down that thought would be the best way to support her brain.
She added a sweet little duck to the reminder note – as one does – and tucked it away in her backpack.
The note worked, her homework was remembered, and now I have decided that from this day forth I will add ducks and speaking bubbles to my reminder notes. They’re just better that way.
